Süd-Süd-Nord-Kooperation Prof. Cástor David Mora, PhD
Prof. Cástor David Mora, PhD, is a university professor in Bolivia and Venezuela. He received his doctorate in mathematics education from the University of Hamburg (Germany) and spent three decades teaching and conducting research in various countries and at national and international scientific institutions, such as MPPE, UCV, and UDO (Venezuela), UMSA, UNSXX, and IIICAB (Bolivia), UNAN (Nicaragua), the University of Bremen, and the University of Hamburg.
From 2007 to 2015, he was also the Executive Director of the Convenio Andrés Bello (CAP) in Bolivia and designed several international education projects in the 12 member states of the CAP. Prof. Mora has carried out numerous large-scale research projects and published over 60 articles, books, and essays on socio-political, educational, and scientific topics.
His areas of interest include general didactics, specific didactics, epistemology, strategic planning in education, neurodidactics, research methodology, scientific research paradigms, interdisciplinary sciences, innovative learning and teaching practices, technical education, activity theory, mathematics education, statistics, etc.
Since 2018, he has been coordinating the HGSS South-South-North Cooperation Program on a voluntary basis.
